ClearClip Privacy Policy

LEE SUNG WOOK (the “Operator”) is committed to protecting ClearClip users’ privacy. This policy explains how the app handles information and uses advertising SDKs.
1. Information processed on your device
Videos you select are processed on your device for blur or AI restoration. The Operator does not upload original videos or work history to its servers. To show and reopen your work list, the app stores the file name, size, duration, file reference, selected areas and time ranges, processing mode, and status in its local database.
Completed videos are saved in your device’s shared media storage under Movies/ClearClip. The original file remains in its original location.
2. Advertising and third-party SDKs
ClearClip uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to provide rewarded interstitial ads. Google’s SDK may automatically collect and share IP address, ad views/taps and app interaction data, performance and diagnostic information, and device identifiers such as Android Advertising ID and App Set ID for ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the SDK is protected by TLS. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
The app does not provide a general in-app switch for ad personalization. Where required by the laws or ad policies applicable to a user’s region, the required consent or privacy-choice flow will be provided. If another advertising SDK is added, its provider and data practices will be added to this policy and Google Play’s Data safety disclosures before use.
3. International transfers
Information handled by the advertising SDK may be transferred to and processed on servers operated by Google and related service providers, including outside South Korea. Processing locations and details depend on Google’s services and the user’s region; see Google’s policies.
4. Retention and deletion
Work history is stored locally and can be deleted in the app. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes app-private data from the device, although Android backup settings may allow a backup to be restored. Original videos remain in their original locations. Exported videos are stored in shared media storage and are not automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled; delete them from your Gallery or media app. Google’s policies govern retention and deletion of data handled by its ad SDK. You can reset or delete the Advertising ID in Android settings.
5. Children and all-age audience
ClearClip is intended for users of all ages. The app itself is not designed to collect a child’s name, contact details, or date of birth. The ad SDK may process device identifiers and ad interaction data. If children are included in the target audience on Google Play, Families policy requirements apply to ads shown to children and users of unknown age. Mixed-audience apps may need a neutral age screen and age-appropriate ad handling. We will verify the SDK version and age-based ad settings before release.
6. Your choices and rights
You can delete work history in the app and reset or delete the Advertising ID in Android settings. You may contact us to ask questions or exercise applicable access, correction, or deletion rights. Privacy choices for ads may vary by region.
7. Security
Video processing takes place on your device. SDK transmissions are protected by TLS, and work history is stored in the app sandbox. Device locks and backups also depend on your device settings.
8. Google Play billing and subscriptions
The current app only opens the Google Play subscription management page; in-app billing has not been implemented. If billing is introduced, Google Play will handle payment method information, and the app may process product, purchase status, and purchase verification data such as a purchase token. This policy and the Data safety disclosures will be updated before launch.
9. Changes
This policy will be updated when app features, advertising SDKs, data practices, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the Google Play listing.
